Our story at Designer Walls by Kikou is a tale rooted in a passion for craftsmanship and home design. Owner Korania's journey into the world of wallpaper installation began in her childhood when she was taught the art by her mother, Stephanie. Raised as an only child in a single-parent household, she absorbed invaluable knowledge about all things related to home design, including the intricate art of wallpapering.

How Designer Walls by Kikou came to be

Little did she realize that this early exposure would eventually evolve into a profitable passion. In 2019, Designer Walls by Kikou was founded by the dynamic husband-and-wife duo, Korania and Sekou, affectionately known as "KiKou." Seeking additional income opportunities, they decided to offer their expertise in wallpaper services. To their pleasant surprise, they discovered a significant demand for skilled wallpaper installers in the industry.

Driven by their commitment to excellence, Korania and Sekou dedicated themselves to perfecting their craft. Daily practice sessions combined with insightful guidance from master wallpaper installer Spence Colgan propelled them toward mastery. Today, our team at Designer Walls by Kikou showcases their unwavering commitment to creating flawless installations. We take pride in serving the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia Metropolitan area, as well as surrounding cities, with seamless wallpaper transformations that elevate your living spaces.
